something burns badly here on top of the powerline. and it made a loud boom. just 100m away from my flat.

Update: Not much to update. Still burning. No more trains on one of the main train lines out of and into Zurich (to and from eastern and central switzerland, AFAIK) just before the new tunnel to Thalwil. Looks like a really bad week for the SBB...

And here's the info from the Teletext Site. As always, the sbb.ch main site is pretty bad with such information :)

Update II: Some better pictures with my real cam can be found on my gallery. Not much more to see, though...

Update III: The Tages-Anzeiger now also reports it. The thing burning is indeed a condenser, according to the SBB. And the bang was really loud, I can tell you :)

Hear it already in radio. But you where also real fast ;-). This week was perhaps the worst for the sbb in the last 100 years. SBB have to work on his information management on the web, perhaps install a bitflux cms ;-)

Ach, das war gleich bei dir ... ich hab das nämlich in den dt. Nachrichten verfolgt - aber in Zukunft informiere ich mich über deinen Blog, du scheinst näher dran zu sein :)
