you could just log the referers from google and from known sites. this means that someone has to "subscribe" for appearing in the referers. this would let you control these sites (and would others inspire to set a link to you page to increase the (google)-rating by increasing yours as well).
additionally you could just count all the other referers as a total without listing them.

my webalizer lacks showing the referers from google, but that might also be a configuration-issue.

i was a bit uneasy with crashing all those horny guys' browsers..
but heck, the same site also spammed many other blogs such as schoolblogs.com, blogs.law.harvard.edu and many others.
