I just come from Derick's Time and Date in PHP 5.1 presentation. Was pretty cool, interesting and funny. I couldn't imagine that time-handling is that complicated and I'm really looking forward to the date parsing engine in PHP 5.1. It was always a pain to support it correctly, especially when your source is unknown or not under your control like on Planet PHP.
