What's in PHP 6?

After lengthy discussions on the internals mailinglist, some of the core developers of PHP sat together and discussed all the open topics and came to some conclusions.

If you want to know, how PHP 6 most presumably will look like and what's in there and what not, go to the long long Developers Meeting Minutes taken by Derick.

I am not much into PHP-Development anymore but since I used to develop many big sites using it a couple years ago, I once in a while check what's new and see where the language is heading to. Shortly after the Forum PHP in Paris this year, a bunch of the core developers and people around php got together on Nov. 11th and 12th 2005 to discuss the major changes, bugfixes and enhancements in the upcoming version (php 6) and Derick Rethans put up a protocol about what has been decided at http://www.php.net/~derick/meeting-notes.html. Lot's of useful changes to say the least...
