Testing IE 7 (not ...)

I wanted to test IE 7 today (the public Beta 2 release is now available), but I didn't succeed, here's the catch:

(too lazy to write more by myself, that blog post says it all, just replace Virtual PC with VMWare for my setup ... )

Your LiveSearch has some Problems with IE7. Would me nice if you can fix it.

IF you have the new vmware get the trial of the 64-bit win xp http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/64bit/evaluation/trial.mspx - an other possibility is the trick with the iexplore.exe.local - but with this solution i had some problems with my ie6 (had to delete a registry key) how mentioned in this blog http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/default.aspx (IE December Security Update – addressing scattered reports of odd browser behavior).

The Problem with the LiveSearch.js seems to be the keylistener.

Is there a fix available for IE7? I implemented everything in my site and tested it in Opera, Firefox and IE6 and it worked. But IE7 doesn't work.
