High resolution map of latest Swiss blog posts

Thanks to the great guys from endoxon, blogug can now provide a high resolution map of the latest blog posts in the Swiss blogosphere.

See it in action.

It basically shows all Swiss blogs, which are geotagged (how to do that is explained on alain's blog) and the icon fades out, the older the latest post is. It is automatically updated every hour by endoxon via our georss feed from the planet.

The feed also looks for geotagged posts (and not only the main blog coordinates) and displays the icon there, but that only happens for your latest post. I try to improve that feature in the near future.

BTW: I know, that slug.ch has something like this since ages, but "we" have high resolution for the whole of Switzerland :)

Coole Sache und neben der hochen Auflösung auch sehr genau positioniert. Nur schade, dass die Karten von endoxon etwa 10 Jahre alt sind (jdenfalls in meiner Umgebung), so wird es Blogs auf freien Wiesen geben.

I know this is some kind of this beta-web-2.0-stuff, but perhaps you would make anyway a link on the frontpage of blogug.ch. And the flags doesn't work in my konqueror (I know, I know konqueror-user are not "zielgruppe"). But the best is: my freeflux-hosted blog is exactly on the right position. Some kind of big-brother...

Und dass dein Blog "exactly on the right position" kommt hast du nicht uns zu verdanken. Irgendwann mal hast Du da die koordinaten in deinem Blog eingegeben :)

Cool. Nur swissbloggs.ch ist ein wenig komisch, die nehmen fast niemanden auf.
