Webtuesday: PHP vs. Javascript: which sucks more?

Today, another webtuesday. Here's the announcement from Harry

In absence of something worthy to talk about (more volunteers please ;), the topic tomorrow night is;

"PHP vs. Javascript: which sucks more?"

Maarten with be taking the PHP corner and I'll be taking the Javascript corner, both of us shamelessly advocating each language, while it's up to the audience to shoot us down and decide which languages sucks more.

So (hopefully) and entertaing language / flamewar in real time - bring your rotten tomatoes and custard pies for throwing. We'll try to keep in under 45 minutes, so it doesn't get irritating.

Location is the (all new) Amiado offices in the City. More info at http://www.webtuesday.ch/meetings/20061010

Hope to see you there.

Or is it Client Side v.s Server Side? it's out of point i think, because PHP can well corporate with javascript. Infact PHP needs javascript as much as javascript need PHP.

Yeah, both are needed... You can't easily compare them...

You can always talk in the strict programmer view. Not the usage but the features of the language.

Both of them suck but lesser than the others :-D
