I spare you a detailled account on the Lift08 Venture Night, as Bruno has done that perfectly well. Maybe a couple of comments:

• Next time we want a buzzer for or a trap door to skip/dump speakers. Or a ffw button. Some presentations were really not too inspiring.
• There would surely have been quite a bunch of cooler startups in Switzerland. Why push good old coComment yet again..?
  
• No actual open source startups, none. Thought that was en vogue?
• Dominik presented Wuala ("the Skype of online storage") in an awesomly calm manner, honestly impressive. Ebay will go buy them :)
• The rest, apart from maybe Pixelux which I can't actually categorize, was not particularly impressive in terms of VC potential or disruptive power, I think - but then again I'm neither a VC nor doing anything too disruptive :)
  

Not quite sure if this mode of blogging is not perhaps a bit too twitteresque, but I'll try to go on tomorrow. Feedback appreciated a lot.
